Kalahari Okavango Safari Expedition is suitable for the adventurous traveller. The desert and delta safari. It is a combination of the Kalahari Desert and a visit to The Okavango. The contrasting biospheres of these destinations are unique—the vast open landscapes of the Kalahari and the Riverine forests of the Okavango. Botswana consists of 70% Kalahari Basin. Basin and the Okavango River gives yearly life to this basin.
We aim to introduce our travellers to a lifestyle of knowledge and experience in both regions we are planning to visit. Exploring the red dunes and yellow grass of the Kalahari creates a sense of wild and free-roaming. The kalahari is home to some of the major predators in Southern Africa. Our safari route through the kalahari is very remote and off the main roads. Therefore, we have added a team that will join us as a backup through the hidden parts of our safari. Our safari is ideal for wildlife and wilderness travellers that enjoy a combination of wild camping and lodge accommodation.
Our backup team will be a team of two people, assisting with setting up camp, preparing our bush dinners and provide us with back in safety when we cross the red dune belt. Driving sandy roads, camping in the wild and learning the footsteps of the bushman is part of our journey.
