Green Kalahari Experience

Green Kalahari is a unique experience in the Kalahari of South Africa. The Raining season sometimes starts as early as the beginning of November. However, we focus on our Kalahari experiences thrice yearly between January and March. Our Experience will begin at Upington in the Northern Cape.

Our route plan is to visit the Kgalagadi and mabuasehube on the Botswana side of the Kgalagadi. Part of our visit will allow us to understand the people of the Kalahari. The History and hardship of living in the outback of South Africa.

Our focus will be a combination of nature, wildlife, culture, local cuisine and some stories about the Kalahari, its people and the wild side. The adventure is an 11-Day Green Kalahari Experience; thunderstorms, rain, and dramatic weather can be the norm during this time.

The changes of seasons bring life, adventure and some short-stay visitors. It is the time of year when you can have the chance to view the migrating birds along with butterflies and herds of eland.

The 10-Day Green Kalahari Experience combines camping and accommodation.

The Wildside of the Kalahari offers only camping options. Our team has opted to bring our mobile camping team to the Experience. The mobile unit is responsible for our wild-tented camps in the Kalahari. Our camp and meals are in the capable hands of the Mobile Team.
