The Wilderness Safari is the perfect combination between Lodge and Mobile wild Camping. This safari will start in Maun and ends upon arrival in Kasane. We have selected the best value for money lodges without compromising the wilderness experience.
We aim never to overcrowd our safaris, so we have selected to offer small group safaris. The small groups allow all our traveller and guides to have direct contact. It is easier to travel in smaller groups, and we can focus our experience on all travellers interests. Experiencing the wild wilderness safari is best in a custom four-wheel-drive vehicle and local guides with knowledge.
We will have three destinations that will act as our Base Camp. We have selected the Kwai, Savute and Chobe Flood plains as our destinations. Excellent wildlife within these areas and phenomenal birding. It is ideal to have a base.
Our Base destinations allow us to be flexible and explore the regions thoroughly during our safaris. The Moremi Game reserve lies on the eastern part of the Okavango Delta. The northern border is with the river Kwai.
Animals migrate freely within this region. The local communities are just north of the Moremi Game Reserve. The Vegetation differs between Moremi, Savute and Chobe National Park. This route crosses some of the best wildlife corridors, reserve and parks of Botswana. One of our Highlights will be our Mobile Camping base within the Savute region.
This camp will be in the wild. In the wild, meaning a natural location without any infrastructure inside Savute. Our Back up team will set up our tented dome tents and take care of all the catering. These Two man dome tents come with stretchers, beds, bedding and some bush ablutions. All our meals will be freshly made on open fires and in our bush Kitchen. We do cater for all dietary requirements.
Our Wilderness Safari is on a scheduled Departure. However, you are welcome to contact us for Private safaris.
We suggest that from May to October. However, November and December are the rainy seasons' start and often surprises us more than once.
