The West Coast of South Africa offers some of the most pristine beaches. Along the cold Atlantic are two-track roads and small communities. The Namaqualand region is well known for being one of the most massive succulent biospheres globally. These plants flower during August and September, all depending on the rains, of course. You can expect vast open landscapes with small communities and traditional farms.
Cold Atlantic is known for rough seas and shipwrecks. The regions are famous for some of the largest diamond mining industries in South Africa. A mineral-rich, arid and vast landscapes await your journey towards the Kalahari.
