Botswana Safaris

Botswana Safaris offers a wide range of safari experiences in Botswana.

The Wild and natural wilderness of Botswana is of the best. The most natural environment to experience the wildlife and nature of Africa. The country consists of 70% Kalahari Basin. The Okavango River gives life to this Kalahari basin with a yearly flood. The change of seasons and the unique biodiversity of the Okavango River make Botswana a natural wilderness. Travelling to these pristine areas requires experience and well-organised logistics.

The Okavango River forms a swampland or delta basin. Travelling through this swampland can be a daunting task. Many reserves, national parks, conservancies, and sanctuaries have difficult access. Some of these destinations are not reachable in the rainy season by a 4 x 4. The use of small charter planes is widespread in reaching these wilderness destinations. Combining land, river and air transfers to achieve goals is also possible.

Botswana Safaris Description.

Mobile Camping Safaris

The word mobile describes safari. A mobile safari is where two vehicles and a team of guides travel between destinations on a safari. Usually, one car will be for passengers and the second vehicle for camping supplies and food. These vehicles are in radio communications. The supply vehicle and the backup crew will consist of a driver and a kook. The team is responsible for setting up a remote camp with dome tents, bush toilets, and a Bush Kitchen. Due to the off-road terrain, it is best to have a backup team. At the same time, our travellers explore the wilderness with our experienced safari guides.

Mobile Safaris are into two categories.

Participation in Mobile Safaris. Our travellers assist with setting up the wild camps and have camp tasks, like helping with the bush cooking, cleaning, and maintaining our wild camping during your safari.

Non-Participation Mobile Safaris. A Mobile safari is when we have an entire backup Team. The backup team will take care of all the camping duties and preparations while our travellers explore the wildlife. We also offer fully serviced safaris. Fully serviced mobile safaris have a variety of comforts on offer. Our Botswana safaris are flexible, and we can cater to our client's individual needs.

In a nutshell, this safari concept means you can select your participation and comfort levels.

Self-drive Safaris

These safaris are perfect for the more adventurous and seasoned traveller. It is ideal for those with 4 x 4 driving experience. A self-driving safari is an excellent way to explore Botswana's undiscovered hidden jewels. Hire a vehicle or take your safari vehicle. Our team recommends that you spend adequate time planning your self-driving safari. The roads and road conditions change according to the seasons. The wet and rainy season is challenging, and regular routes are impossible. The Okavango floods yearly, expecting excessive water crossings and muddy trails.
